Discovery of the boreal forest
You will arrive at the ferry terminal around 11:00 am. Explore the boreal forest of Saint-Pierre along a well-defined route… towards the old refrigerator where the adventure begins!
On your way, take a break at the saltworks so that you don’t leave on an empty stomach. Once you are satisfied, continue on your way to the beginning of the route. You will discover the local flora before arriving at the return point where you will find binoculars… now discover the fauna of the Grand Colombier, thousands of birds of various species!
Getaway to Saint-Pierre
After taking in the sights, head back to the town of Saint-Pierre where you can take a cultural tour, on foot or by motorised vehicle, to learn more about this French archipelago. You can also immortalize your excursion by taking pictures of the most beautiful places on the island.
